Locums are paid directly by you as normal. Remember to fill out the payment policy section in the brand profile. This can be found by clicking onto the “Administration” section on the left hand toolbar. The payment policy informs locums of how to claim payment and when your normal payroll terms apply.

Yes you can. When searching for locums you can choose one of 3 options:

  • Post as an open shift- this allows you to post the job advert and let locums apply.
  • I want to find locums- you can search, select and book the locums you want to work
  • Find me locums- let the system do the hard work for you and automatically invite suitable locums to work.

You can set these preferences under your brand profile in the shift default values tab. This can be found by clicking onto the “Administration” section on the left hand toolbar. Select “method of booking”.

You can choose to either review applications from locums first or allow a first come first served approach. You can set these preferences under your brand profile in the shift default values tab. This can be found by clicking onto the “Administration” section on the left hand toolbar. Select “Allocation”.

Yes you can set your rates for individual stores. You can set these preferences under your brand profile in the branch default values tab. This can be found by clicking onto the “Administration” section on the left hand toolbar. You can also amend this for individual stores when searching at any time. Applicable rates should meet minimum requirements

We will invoice you at the end of each month. Payment terms are net 30 days.

Yes absolutely. Although the system is quick and easy to use we appreciate sometimes you are very busy. You can set these preferences under your brand profile in the branch details tab. This can be found by clicking onto the “Administration” section on the left hand toolbar and clicking yes/no to “Would you like My Locum Choice admin to manage your locum requirements?”.

You can set these preferences under your compliance profile. This can be found by clicking onto the “Administration” section on the left hand toolbar. Documents can be added/removed/amended at any time with ease.

You can set these preferences under your “Administration tab”. This can be found by clicking onto the “Administration” section on the left hand toolbar. You can allocate compliance managers/regional managers at any time.

After each shift has been completed you will be able to leave feedback on the locum and also apply a star rating. Click on the left hand toolbar onto “Completed shifts”. You can provide feedback here for the appropriate date. The calendar/list toggle on the top left of your page next to Add shifts allows you to switch between calendar and list view.

On the left hand toolbar click onto the “favourite locums” tab and they will all be in view.

When you complete feedback for a locum you will see a heart icon at the top. By clicking this you will be able to add the locums to your favourite list.

No, we keep the same fee regardless of emergency or forward booking.

Based on how you have set up your profile locums will get instant notifications to show there is a shift suited to them. They can accept through their mobile app.

Yes, My Locum Choice run a robust vetting service before making locums deployable. As a minimum locums must have MUR, NMS, Safeguarding level 2, Dementia friend and enhanced DBS check compliance.

Yes you can add multiple branches by clicking onto the “branches” tab on the left hand toolbar. Once you have clicked into this section click on “Add branch” at the top right of your screen.

Yes they can. Locums will be prompted to provide feedback about pharmacies they have worked at. This feedback will be displayed internally in your profile and not for public view.

Yes you can set multiple locums for the same shift under “ Number of vacancies” section when you create a shift in your “shifts” tab on the left hand toolbar.

You can import multiple shifts as an excel file onto the platform easily!

Simply click on the “Add Shifts” icon in the top right corner of your screen. Download the template, populate with the shifts needing cover and re-upload! The system will then send out all of the requirements automatically as Open Shifts for locums to apply/book.

Click onto the “booked shifts” tab on the left hand toolbar. Find your booking and click “view details”. Select the “Booking & cancellations details tab”. You can cancel a locum here. If you have any queries please email MLC on helpdesk@mylocumchoice.com or call 01604 212992.

Yes, you can add multiple shifts via your calendar. Click on the date applicable and a popup will appear for you to enter the date and locations needing cover. Then click publish to send the invitations out.

The notification bell found on the top right corner of your screen gives you real time information about locums who have accepted your shifts.

Whether you have one pharmacy or multiple you can keep track of all bookings including completed, booked or not yet booked. Click onto the relevant tab e.g booked on the left hand toolbar under shifts. Apply any filters necessary for example per branch or date range and click search. This will bring up a list of all bookings that can then be exported. For further assistance contact My Locum Choice.

My Locum Choice's fee per booking is £9 irrespective of emergency or advanced booking.
